Katy Perry says "Woman's World" is "satire" despite "cringe" reviews.

Katy Perry addresses critics of her latest track "Woman's World."

The singer has been slammed for working with alleged  abuser and song producer Dr. Luke and for her anti-feminist material.

The "Woman's World" music video has been criticized for employing the masculine gaze because .....

....Perry and other women dress as   construction workers before an anvil kills her. A new version of herself awakens.

Perry addressed criticism on Instagram with a behind-the-scenes peek at her song video and the remark, "YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! Even Satire!"

The singer stated in the video, “We're kind of having fun being sarcastic with it. Really slapstick and on the nose."

With this set, it's like, "Oh, we're not about the male gaze, but we're about the male gaze," and we talk a lot because I'm about to get caught and that's a big deal, Ben.

And my passion for Riza woman started again and from now on we entered a completely different world.
